Wednesday 7th March Annual General Meeting followed by THE MICK WATTERS MEMORIAL LECTURE Matthew Read, West Dean College "The Restoration of the Bowes Swan" The Bowes Swan is a true masterpiece - a full sized swan made of silver, swimming on a river of twisted glass rods. It is fully automated and the neck of the swan articulated. It looks around then ducks it's head into the stream and picks up a fish.
